About me
Ted Neikirk has taught in multiple settings and multiple social studies subjects. He loves hiking, music, the arts, exploring different cultures, history of all types, camping, winter sports, kayaking, and loves to explore and share historical towns and natural areas in the Maryland area and nearby states to explore. Ted has led numerous Outdoor Clubs and guided many outdoor trips. He is the chair of the Baltimore campus Outdoor Club and Environmental Science Academy where students have explored the many ways to enjoy the outdoors, created a school nature trail, and learned about the importance of gardening, horticulture, and creating a sustainable school in our modern society. He has made a yearly PTO presentation about fun and inexpensive local trips and activities. Two years ago, Ted made a major lifestyle change to improve his health through exercise and diet, which he will share in this presentation. Important- Come prepared to move and exercise as well as explore.
