Join us for an interactive professional development session that explores how to bring the excitement of true crime investigations into the high school ELA classroom. Participants will learn how to design hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that strengthen reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking skills. Through realistic crime-solving scenarios, students become investigators as they analyze evidence, evaluate sources, make inferences, identify bias, construct arguments, and communicate their findings. This approach encourages collaboration, problem-solving, and engagement while reinforcing key literacy standards.
